IT'S HERE!
And now I'm suddenly weighed down but all the new choices that have to be made. Oh goodness.
I have the tub and the flooring picked out, however now we need a toilet, a vanity, shower head, faucet, sink faucet, tile for the surround. CRAP CRAP CRAP so much to do! But none the less the tub is here and we are excited!
Oh What a Big Day!
Yesterday Isabelle got her first set of squeaker shoes. What are Squeaker shoes you ask? They are exactly what they sound like. Every time that Isabelle takes a step they squeak. It's really funny when she starts to walk fast, almost run, it's just one long squeak instead of separate steps. They sound like they would get old fast however they were really born out of necessity. With the squeaker shoes we can tell where she is at all times.
Now when there is no squeaking and no talking then we know she is doing something she isn't supposed to.
Also this week I have realized how grown up my little girl is. She know what she wants all the time and can get her point across quite well. It's amazing how much has changed in a year. Last year at this time we were just beginning to understand each other and now it's almost like having a conversation. Oh how the time flies!

Full of It!
After the appointment Todd and Isabelle came to my office and I asked- "So... what did the doctor say?"
"Shes full of S*$^" Todd said.
I was like "What? Who? The doctor? Explain!" I mean really we are talking about my daughter here a short explaination of 4 words was not going to do it.
Turns out that is exactly what Isabelle was. She was full of it. Poor thing was constipated. She had been going but just little rabbit turds as we call them so I totally didn't suspect constipation. However after a weekend of Miralax and lots of diluted pear juice our little one cleared out her system sunday and monday.
I cannot wait to tell Isabelle that story when she is old enough to appreciate her fathers humor!

And they lived Happily Ever After...
This is a box that the groom and best man made including the invitation on the cover. The invite was laser engraved onto a piece of wood. In the box all of the guest were asked to write a note to the bride and groom that they will read on their 1 year anniversary.
This is a picture of 1 place setting. The chargers were cut, planed, and polied by the bride and groom and their family and friends. They were beautiful. The bell that was the place card holder was also double purpose. When we wanted the bride and groom to kiss we rang our little jungle bells.
Here is a picture of the reception hall. Really there are no words for how beautiful it was. The setting was only rivaled by how happy the newly weds were that day and still are!
What is a wedding with out cake? This was the wedding cake.
And this is the grooms cake. I love it! The groom is an avid hunter. By avid I mean that his love for Jess is the only thing that rivals his love for hunting and the great outdoors! The cutest part of the cake is the groom aiming at the deer but watching his girl run by.
We had a wonderful time. Thank you Jessica & Justin for inviting us to share in your special day. It was BEAUTIFUL but it will pale in comparison to your lives together!
And We're Back!
Here we are at Cabela's in Omaha taking a crawling break. It was so nice for Isabelle to get out and stretch her legs. And for Marci and I as well... we might have done a little shopping. I think the boys were surprised that we found something at Cabela's. It also proves that Marci and I could find something to buy anywhere!
This last photo is of Isabelle on part of a sculpture in Fort Collins. The other part of the sculpture is a bear but when we tried to sit Isabelle underneath the bear she was not having it. Apparently bears are not her thing. We spent New Years eve day there just bumming around town. We also got a private tour of the New Belgium Brewery thanks to Tim's high school friend, Tyler, who works there.
Other Major events include Isabelle learning to walk proficiently, adding many new animal sounds to her vocabulary and she turned 1. I cannot believe it's been a year. (more on that later)
All told it was a great trip and we would definitely do it again.
